How to size LFT (quick guide)

1. Measure the circumference of your item at the widest point.

2. Divide by 2 to get the minimum lay-flat width.

3. Add 10–20 mm as clearance (more for sharp edges).

4. Choose the gauge based on weight/handling and sealing method.

Example: A box 300 × 200 mm → perimeter 1,000 mm → lay-flat ≈ 500 mm. Choose 500–550 mm LFT depending on clearance.
